OUR PROJECTS

For over 25 years, Tropical Haven Bible Camp Grenada has been in the forefront of fundraising of the organization. Many young lives have testified of how Tropical Haven Bible Camp ministry helped shape their lives.

In 2004, Hurricane Ivan destroyed the buildings on the campsite. The main multipurpose building stands today in ruins. Two other structures which house male and female dormitories have been repaired to minimal requirements.  Since Hurricane Ivan, the locals have been able to cover part of the main building which houses the kitchen and storage area. In order to run the camp, a large tent is usually rented for the purpose of conducting chapel and seating the children for meals. The main building as it stands today must be replaced entirely. It is structurally unsafe. The goal and prayer of the organization is to ensure that Tropical Haven Bible Camp becomes a functional year-round ministry that can become self-sustaining, as it continues to minister to the needs of children, youths, and adults on the island.  To date, GIA has organized support by shipping food and commodities to help run Tropical Haven Bible Camp.

Over the years the mission of the GIA has expanded-- in addition to supporting Tropical Haven Bible Camp we support various organizations and individuals in Grenada in need as well as other parts of the Caribbean. Check out some of the projects we've supported below. Feel free to contact us or join our newsletter to learn more and get more involved!
